Deeper Questions

What do you do at IOI?

Marketing Specialist: Website, Merchandise, Automation, Advertising and Research.

Can you tell us more about yourself?

I am Polish but Danish and pick my nationality depending on the context. I love food, wine and action sports – preferably in quick succession. I think the youth are too addicted to their phones – come on, games are better on a big screen

What's your daily source of inspiration?

My fantastic fiancé, my cat Luna, my little wooden house and produce garden, and the complex structure of information in the postmodern Anthropocene world.

Why are you passionate about what you do?

I grew up with playing Diablo II on my parents’ Windows 98. Although I had to share the internet (modem) with my dad’s business calls, it’s some of my fondest memories.  Games are the books of the 21st century – selling them is selling experiences for a lifetime.

What projects do you work on outside of work?

Although I work with technology, detaching from the digital is important – and crafting things with my own hands is a different kind of joy to me. My hobby and lifetime project is building my house and fixing all that I built because I did it wrong. In summertime, it’s working in my produce garden – same rules apply.

What's your most memorable IOI moment?

When I saw the first concepts behind *UNNANOUNCED PROJECT [REDACTED] – I am proud of being part of a company that collectively wields nothing less than genius – just you wait and see

What's the best bit of advice you've ever been given?

“Hell is paved with unfulfilled good ambitions” – by my mum.
