Never done Karaoke, but I back myself, maybe something from the Beatles, that’s a people pleaser.
I think probably Dartmoor, for the English murder mystery aspect, but there are so many great ones. Walking down the runway in Paris was brilliant, and navigating my way around Mendoza was such a good time. I think I’ll land on Mendoza actually. I love wine.
Dominos pizza, can’t forget the feeling of ordering a dominos and watching The Simpsons at 6pm on channel 4. Nostalgia. That or a Sunday roast, aka the only good contribution from British cuisine.
I like doing impressions, some people think they are good, some people think they are terrible, but we will leave that to the opinion of the public.
Not technically on my desk, but just above it, are photos of my friends, my mum, and her dogs – a little piece of home. My least favourite thing? Probably the hand sanitizer, that reminds me of a darker time…
I would love to learn how to bake, anyone that can whip up a nice loaf of bread or a solid pizza dough is doing pretty good in my books, that would be something I’d like to get more knowledgeable on.

I’m a Recruiter! I facilitate interview processes, consult with hiring managers following interviews, and also of course reach out to people all over the globe to see if they would be interested in working at IO Interactive. I also get to take part in games industry events such as Develop Conference, TGA meets, and Future Games talks. It’s great to be involved in the game dev season in this part of the world.
I’d like to think I am an extroverted and welcoming person who is a friendly welcome into the interview process at IOI. In the office I like to socialize with people from all disciplines because I find everyone’s contributions to our games so fascinating. Outside of work I spend most of my evenings gaming with my friends back in England, running/biking around the city, and planning out places to travel for the months to come.
My team! The HR and Recruitment team are delight to work with and were a big part in me making the jump from England over to Sweden, they inspire me to put in my best work and help support IOI’s recruitment efforts as best I can.
I love meeting new people, it is something that really makes me happy, making new connections and bringing them into be a part of what we are working on is really rewarding. When I interview a candidate and then 6 months later I am playing football or grabbing a beer with them, it makes me really proud of the process. I absolutely love video games, as many of us do, and talking to people in this space is always entertaining and enriching.
At the moment, its primarily fitness! This might not count as a project to some people, but its important to myself and I am giving it a fair amount of priority right now. I signed up for a half marathon in September with a few other Ionians, so wish me luck!
Lots to choose from, but I think it would have to be the IOI (Belated) Midsommar party we had last year in Malmo. That was a real coming together of all the new starters in 2021, as well as the people who had been working primarily from home. We played games, had a barbeque under the sunset, and bonded over drinks and merry conversation. It was a whole lot of fun, and I can’t wait for even more work socials this year.
That’s a tough one, everything from “keep your apartment clean” to “take risks”. I think my uncle in the states has given me a few gems over the years always getting me to challenge myself when I can. My mum was a huge help in nudging me towards taking this opportunity and moving to Sweden, she always gives great advice.
