I Wanna Dance with Somebody – Whitney Houston. Gets everyone in the mood for a boogie!

Dubai – Definitely played this level the most and it was such a great intro to Hitman 3 with such a beautiful setting.

Meal that reminds you of childhood

Three games:
1. Hades

Deeper Questions

What do you do at IOI?

I am a Senior Gameplay Animator on the Project 007. My role involves a mix of motion capture (in and out of the suit), keyframe animation and technical engine work (state machines etc.). Most recently undergoing player locomotion with some new, exciting challenges.

Can you tell us more about yourself?

I would like to see myself as a friendly, approachable person who is always up for a good laugh. I like to skate and swim in the sea when the Swedish weather allows it. When it doesn’t, being indoors to game, watch TV and read suits me just fine too. I absolutely LOVE animals – I have always said if I didn’t work in games I would be working with animals in some way or another.

What's your daily source of inspiration?

I think I just love to learn, and at IOI there are so many things to learn, from bouncing ideas off other creative and technical people to exploring the boundaries of your own abilities.

Why are you passionate about what you do?

I always thought that I wanted to work in movies, though working in games sparked a passion for the unique technical and artistic balance I was striving for.

What projects do you work on outside of work?

I am currently learning to script – though I am a complete amateur I am trying to learn C# for Unity and Python for Maya and Motionbuilder. I like creating some ad hoc scripts to help myself and others have an easier time when it comes to these tools.

What's your most memorable IOI moment?

For a colleague’s birthday some of us hired a small boat and drove around the canal with some beverages and snacks – this was like my second week, ‘twas an awesome slice of what the people at IOI are like.

What's the best bit of advice you've ever been given?

Work smart not hard.”
It’s easy to get frustrated and find work hard at times, sometimes taking a step back and thinking about the problem helps pave the way to solving it in a different, more constructive way.
